JESUS Bids Us Come

Our Vision

Knowing that God takes delight in the prayers and unity of His people, the Women's Prayer Summit (WPS) seeks to reflect and gather a diversity of churches, denominations, cultures, and ethnicities. We gather to pray in support of the body of Christ and the multitude of ministries that are carrying out the commission of Jesus, knowing that our God answers the prayers of his people. We need and expect a harvest of prayer.

If not now, then when. If not us, then who?

United in Prayer

Our intentions are simple. We believe that prayer and unity create a powerful combination of change and transformation, starting with the body of Christ and extending to those around us who are so desperately in need of Him. You can join this initiative by continuing to follow us, inviting women from your church, your ministry, and your region to view the extraordinary virtual event that took place on October 3rd 2020, and by joining us for upcoming prayer webinars and virtual events. Stay connected and we will keep you posted.

THE HISTORY

The Women's Prayer Summit

The Women’s Prayer Summits of October 1997 and 1998 gathered thousands of women to pray “with one heart and one voice.” Janet Broling and a team of diverse women from the New York metro area birthed the movement. The gatherings were so significant and powerful that years later a third Women’s Prayer Summit was held on October 30, 2010. And now it’s time to do it again!

In so many ways women are the backbone of the home, society and the church. This summit is an opportunity for you to refocus, refresh and recharge your prayer life. All of this while storming the gates of heaven for God’s hand to be released in transformational ways--locally and globally--during these desperate times.
